My name is Tim and I have lived in Barcelona for the last 7 years (with the exception of a brief hiatus whilst I was in Valencia). Originally I created Eat Barcelona as a personal blog of all the restaurants I had frequented in Barcelona. It was a surprising success but was lost in its' entirety during a denial of service attack on the hosting company (my fault, it was something like 5 euros for 500 years of hosting).

In the original blog many users wanted to add their own reviews, so with this new version I have made a site where anybody can review and add a Restaurant. On a technical note the site has been made with Drupal by Javier and the crew at Alquimia [1].
